The fourth quarter of 2024 saw varying performance trends among the top cryptocurrency apps on the iOS platform in Portugal, according to data from Sensor Tower.

Binance: Buy Bitcoin & Crypto, published by Binance Switzerland AG, experienced fluctuations in weekly downloads, starting at around 1.1K and peaking at 4.7K in mid-November. Weekly active users began at 64K, climbing to a high of 97K in late November before declining to 67K by the end of December.

Phantom - Crypto Wallet showed a notable increase in weekly downloads, reaching a peak of 5.5K in mid-November from a modest start of 194. Active users mirrored this trend, rising from 3.6K to over 10K in late November, before settling at around 9.2K by the quarter's end.

Crypto.com: Buy BTC, ETH & CRO saw its weekly downloads peak at 2.4K during late November. Active user numbers grew steadily, starting at 7.5K and reaching over 16K by mid-December, demonstrating consistent engagement throughout the quarter.

Coinbase: Buy BTC, ETH, SOL downloads increased from 343 at the start of the quarter to a peak of 1.9K in early December. Active users rose from 8.5K to a peak of 22K in early December, before declining slightly to 14.7K by the end of December.

Lastly, Bybit: Buy Bitcoin & Crypto had a relatively stable download trend, starting at 481 and peaking at 927 in mid-November. Active users began at 9.8K, peaking at 10.5K in mid-December, and ended the quarter at 8.7K.
